Qaivid is an AI Director for cinematic video — conceived by our founder several years ago, and in active development for the past year. This page is for people who want to understand where the company is now, and where we intend to take it.
Where things stand
A working product, still short of commercial launch.
Qaivid is a working product, not a concept. We've designed six creative worlds — from film and storyworlds to music, brand campaigns and social content — and built the agents behind each to varying degrees. Two to three of those agents are already generating finished videos end to end; you can see examples in our gallery today. They're not yet commercially released — we're polishing them further ahead of launch — and the remaining agents are still short of that same bar.
We're currently running a public campaign to fund the work between here and commercial launch in February 2027: polishing the agents already producing finished work, and bringing the rest up to the same standard. What you can try at qaivid.com today is that development build, not a finished product.
What we're building toward
Directing a story is still manual work stitched around the AI.
Generative video tools today produce isolated shots. Directing a real story — one with continuity, character persistence and creative intent — is still mostly manual work stitched around the AI, not done by it. Qaivid is built to close that gap.
Getting there commercially, and staying ahead once larger players inevitably enter the space, will take real capital: compute, R&D, and a team that can move faster than the market. We're building Qaivid to be a company that earns that investment, not just asks for it.
